Since becoming a registered NDIS provider in 2017, Brightside has supported participants to achieve their goals.
Brightside offers Three Neurodiverse support categories.
Finding & Keeping a Job
Finding and keeping a job is a core priority at Brightside. We actively support participants to move into real employment by identifying suitable roles, preparing them for work, and connecting them with workplaces that match their strengths and needs. Beyond securing a job, Brightside provides ongoing support to help participants settle in, manage workplace expectations, and overcome challenges as they arise. By focusing on both gaining employment and maintaining stability once in the role, Brightside helps ensure work is achievable, sustainable, and a positive step forward rather than a short-term outcome.
School Leaver Employment Support
School Leaver Employment Support helps young people transition from school into work, further study, or meaningful community participation in a way that is structured, supportive, and suited to their individual needs. Brightside works alongside school leavers to build confidence, life and work skills, and realistic pathways, while providing consistent mentoring and gradual exposure to real workplaces. We focus on creating stability first, then supporting each young person to explore options, develop independence, and move forward at a pace that reduces anxiety and prevents disengagement, setting them up for long-term success rather than short-term placements.
Life skills and Work skills development
Life skills and work skills development focuses on building the practical abilities people need to manage daily life and succeed in a workplace. Brightside supports participants to develop routines, communication skills, time management, emotional regulation, and task completion, while also learning how workplaces actually function. Skills are taught in real-life contexts, with support adjusted to the individual, so learning is relevant and confidence grows over time. This approach helps participants become more capable, more independent, and better prepared to sustain employment and everyday responsibilities.
